Steady southerly winds, mild October weather and a fantastic group of paddlers; the SUP-class could hardly get a better introduction to the King and Queen of the Fjord! Andreas Svensson is the King of SUP!
A huge thanks to Emma Levemyr who is the creator of this event. And applause to all the people around that make a race like this working; Surfskjulet with Martin Lannér, Brabåt and not the least all the volunteers! Many thumbs up to 102 SUP and SURF and Göran Sivertsson who assisted with his surf-mobile that swallowed nearly the entire starting field of SUP, and as many thumbs up to Crosswater who contributed with number vests.

Allan Rörby crosses the finish line
As co-host, and responsible for the introduction of SUP in this event, I had no time and calm to focus on participation in the race. So I chose to lend out my board to the windsurfing-King of Stenudden; Mikael Lygner. First time on a race-SUP for Mikael, not the last I hope!
